Our Tuffee Manual Folding Wheelchair is available in a range of sizes to fit both children and adults. The armrests and footrests are removable to aid transfers and transportation of the chair. The footrests are also height adjustable so they can be modified to fit each user’s specific needs.
Tough South African conditions require tough wheelchairs. Our Tuffee wheelchair is built with 1.75cm wide rear wheels as well as large 8×2″ front castors to cruise through sand and rough terrain. The crossbar system and upholstery are also reinforced to protect against daily wear and tear.
While using a 13 spanner, the wheelchair footrest height can easily be adjusted. Allowing for the optimal height to be achieved for each individual person sitting at a 90-degree angle.
